In Elden Ring, players will have to fight several demi-god bosses to earn their Great Runes. These bosses also reward players with Remembrances that can be used to acquire their unique weapons, armaments, and Incantation.

The Remembrance of the Blasphemous can be acquired by defeating Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. This boss is located near the Volcano Manor at Altus Plateau, and players will face him after completing three tasks given by Lady Tanith. Players can use the Remembrance of the Blasphemous in the following ways:

  • Purchase Blasphemous Blade (20,000 Runes)Purchase Rykard’s Rancor SorcerySell Remembrace for 50,000 Runes

Players can visit Finger Reader Enia to purchase these two items from the Remembrance of the Blasphemous. You can also duplicate the Remembrance by visiting any of the unused Walking Mausoleums.

The Blasphemous Blade is a perfect choice for those who prefer to add a little Fire damage with sword attacks. Players need to have Strength at 22, Faith at 21, and Dexterity at 15 to wield this legendary boss weapon. Its unique skill, Taker’s Flame, allows players to raise the sacred sword and set it ablaze with blasphemous flames.

Use the Strong Attack to perform a forward blast. The blade’s flames leech HP from each enemy it touches. Similarly, Rykard’s Rancor Sorcery allows players to release spirits that repeatedly explode after delay. Rykard’s Rancor uses two Memory Slots, and players will need to have Intelligence at 40 and Faith at 18 to cast this sorcery.
