Your stats are everything in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. If you want to produce massive amounts of damage in your attacks, how quick you can attack, and so many more factors. If you’re not putting points into the correct selections, it’s easy to incorrectly create your character and find yourself lacking the optimal amount of damage. There are several stats you need to keep track of in the game, and you can check them out on your character sheet.

Ferocity

The first stat on your character sheet is your character’s ferocity. Those with a higher ferocity can likely land harder critical hits against their opponents, and their health returns to them much faster over time. The three scores tied to ferocity are:

  • Health Regeneration: The more health regeneration you have, the more health points your character recovers each tickAttack Critical Chance Score: This number adds to your character’s critical chance, giving them the opportunity to land a critical hit against an opponentSpell Critical Chance Score: Much like the Attack Critical Chance, this stat increases the chance of landing a critical hit against an opponent, but with spells

Toughness

If you want your character at the front of the line, going toe to toe with enemies, you want to have their toughness stat extremely high. They need to be able to withstand a couple of hits and shrug it off like its nothing. Toughness affects these two stats:

  • Health: The more points, the higher total health your character has available to you, allowing you to take more damage overallAll Resistances Scores: The more points you have in this stat, the more resistances your character has in all damage types that an enemy could use against them

Agility

For characters who prefer to keep on their toes and are always moving across a battlefield, you want them to have a high agility score. Agility is not only a great factor in how many attacks your character can do, but it’s also a defensive stat. Agility affects these three stats:

  • Dodge Chance Score: A higher dodge chance means your character has the opportunity to avoid an attack without relying on armor to absorb the damageAttack Speed Score: A character’s attack speed determines how often you can use your weapon, and the higher it goes the more often you can unleash it on your enemiesSpell Casting Speed Score: Much like attack speed, a higher spell casting speed number is, the more often your character can use damaging spells against your opponents

Wisdom

Wisdom works a little differently. It’s going to determine the amount of resilence your character has against other spells, and how well their spells can damage their opponents. For example, if you have a cold spell, the higher ailment chance gives your character a chance to freeze an opponent on an attack. These are the stats tied to wisdom:

  • Status Ailments Resilience Score: The higher your character’s ailments resilience score, you have less of a chance of taking damage from an opponent’s specific attack and have an effect from any magical effectsAttack Status Ailment Chance Score: If your character’s weapon has a magical ailment attached to it, you have a chance of causing extra damage and effects to your opponentsSpell Status Ailment Chance Score: Much like the previous stat, this one determines any magical ailment attacks your spells might have, causing extra damage to your opponents
