Lost Ark is an action-adventure MMO, and players can explore various areas and encounter numerous enemies. These include common mob enemies that are easy to kill and bosses that are a little more challenging. Players may also notice that some enemies they encounter have a yellow aura to them. They may be wondering what these yellow highlighted enemies are.
The highlighted yellow enemies in Lost Ark are special enemies you can view in your Adventure Tome. These enemies are slightly tougher variants and have a modifier to their name. They are slightly tougher than regular enemies, but still easy to dispatch.
What does killing yellow monsters do
Killing the yellow highlight monsters will grant you additional experience compared to the regular enemies. They will also drop more loot, including elixirs that grant you temporary buffs to strength or speed.
Highlighted yellow enemies do not show up on the map, so you will have to find them manually. They are fairly easy to spot as they are highlighted, and their name will appear differently than regular enemies of that type.
