With Omega Strikers‘ recent release on September 16, many are eager to try out this new free-to-play, 3v3 game. If you’re familiar with games like Rocket League, you may see some loose similarities as you try to score your ball into the enemy’s net. The main difference, however, is that you use (mostly) humanoid characters with their own playstyles. With this in mind, there’s an added level of depth as you learn each character’s strengths, weaknesses and builds to maximize their effectiveness! This guide will teach you all about Trainings in Omega Strikers.

What are Trainings in Omega Strikers?

Before diving into what Trainings are, it’s important to learn the the game’s basic mechanics. There are multiple roles in the game, and, depending on the character you’re playing, you’ll want to develop your playstyle to cater to it. For example, if you play a lot of Dubu, you’ll likely focus on being a Goalie. Similarly, if you’re an Estelle one-trick, your style will reflect a Forward’s role. Each role serves a different purpose, and your character has various abilities to help accomplish them. Trainings are a fundamental part of this.

The Last of Us Part 1: How To Find All Training Manuals

For each character you play, you can head into the Training page and pick various passive buffs to create a build. You’ll find multiple columns, with some being “Must Picks”. Some bonuses in the Trainings list include your strikes granting movement speed, your character increasing in size, extra damage and heal perks and reduced special ability cooldowns. Ideally, you want to optimize your Trainings build to reflect your character’s strengths and playstyle. However, if you play multiple roles, you’ll also need different builds to reflect that.

While you’ll initially start with very few, you can purchase more from the in-game shop for 5000 coins each. To get more, keep playing the game and finish missions! Over time, you’ll gain enough to buy plenty of Trainings for your characters.

Omega Strikers is available to play for free on PC through Steam. Be sure to check out the game’s official social media for more information and updates!
