Monster Hunter Rise has plenty of terrifying foes for players to tackle. Each of these monsters offers a unique challenge for aspiring hunters, and the Khezu is one of Rise’s many Flying Wyverns that pose a threat to inexperienced players. This white Wyvern will crush unprepared hunters, so ensure you’re ready for this fight by reading up on Khezu’s weaknesses.

When fighting this beast, it’s good to know what it’s weak against or where to inflict that good old damage to slaughter the foe quickly. So here’s Khezu’s weaknesses, resistances, and drop rates.

All Khezu Weaknesses

Khezu Elemental Weakness

Khezu’s main weakness is its aversion to fire elemental damage. Striking with this type of weaponry will eviscerate the winged beast. Besides fire, there aren’t many viable options. Water, ice, and dragon weapons are better than no element at all, but only slightly. Do not use

You should focus your attacks if using a fire weapon on the Khezu’s Head, Neck, and Torso, as these are the areas that will feel the most significant impact. If you’re using water, ice, or dragon weaponry, where you attack doesn’t matter, as the damage dealt is the same across the monster’s entire body.

Khezu Location Weakness

If you are not wielding an elemental weapon, you want to attack certain places where you deal extra damage. These places on a monster differentiate depending on the weapon type you use—Cutting, Impact, or Shot.

Khezu Resistances and Ailments

The Khezu is resistant to most ailments in Monster Hunter Rise. There are several that impact it—Poison is the best ailment to use on the Khezu, as it is incredibly effective. Though not as powerful as Poison against this enemy, Blast and Fireblight are also helpful.
