With the profession revamp newly introduced at the release of World of Warcraft Dragonflight, Knowledge Points have become a very valuable resource. This resource acts like talent points for each profession, but they are time-gated, meaning there are only so many Knowledge Points you can get per week. While Draconic Treatises don’t undermine that limitation, they are a source of knowledge you should be aware of. Here’s everything we know about Draconic Treatise.
Draconic Treatise in World of Warcraft Dragonflight, Explained
Draconic Treatise grants you one additional Knowledge Point per week when used. The Inscription profession creates them, so players control the value of this item entirely. Whether you are a Leatherworker or a Cook, a Draconic Treatise exists for every available profession. However, they can only be used once per week for every profession. So, if you are a Leatherworker and a Cook, you can use a Draconic Treatise for both, and the Server reset is when players can use them again.
Don’t bother looking them up at your local auction house, though. You can only obtain Draconic Treatise through the supporting Crafting Order system introduced at Dragonflight’s release. As mentioned, another player has to make a Draconic Treatise specific to her profession for you to obtain and use it. As such, you’ll need to communicate with other players to get one. The easiest way is to gather all the necessary materials for a Draconic Treatise and then place a public order through the Crafting Order NPC in Valdrakken. Alternatively, requesting one to be made through Trade Chat, thus a private order can also yield results.
