Splitgate thrives on its community and what better way to spread the love than inviting your friends. Developer 1047 Games has a system in place to incentive you and your friends to play Splitgate. This is their referral code system and is not to be confused with the DLC code system.
The system can be a bit confusing because it has certain requirements. For a Splitgate referral code to work, the player whose code you are using must be under level 10. If you are over level 10, then you cannot enter someone’s referral code.
To input a referral code and to see your referral code, open the Settings menu. Click on Reward Center, and this will open the rewards tab. There you will find the referral box, and you can put that code in there. Doing so will reward both players with 50 Splitcoins each.
You can only use one player’s referral code once. But you can also input as many referral codes as you want. For the referral code to work, the player entering it must be under level 10. Upon reaching level 10, the two players will receive their rewards.
Overall this system is aimed at drawing in new players.
