The larger minibosses are usually surrounded by many smaller enemies and are sometimes preceded by a wave-based attack, where players have to fight through waves of baddies until the boss spawns. While they can be difficult, the Ancient Obelisks are usually worth hunting down as they can give players some great loot upon completion.
