The next season of the ABC reality show, Bachelor in Paradise, premieres on Sept 27, 2022, bringing along a new cast ensemble and plots unlike any other. Ahead of the big moment, several teasers have hit the media, causing heightened anticipation.

Amid the brewing excitement, BIP’s resident bartender Wells Adams shed more light on the upcoming supersized season, promising viewers several interesting twists and turns.

Wells Adams Says Bachelor In Paradise May Have Longer Screentime

While appearing on a recent episode of Nick Viall’s podcast, Viall Files, Wells Adams went candid about what Bachelor In Paradise season 8 had in store. According to him, the network added thirteen extra hours of screentime to the show, making it about six episodes longer than previous seasons. The 38-year-old went on to clarify that the extra hours in no way made their shooting schedule more tasking. He explained:

Aside from the extra episodes, Adams explained that the new season is different from previous ones because they began filming earlier. This is unlike previous seasons, where filming only commenced after the ongoing season of the ABC sister show, The Bachelorettes, went halfway. By implication, the Tv personality, a mainstay on the ABC show, was unacquainted with most of the new cast members. He explained:

What Fans Can Expect On BIP

Wells Adams also opened up about what viewers could expect in the upcoming season of the show, which hit the screen right after Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s stint on The Bachelorette goes off-air. He explained:

Meanwhile, the BIP is also priming up for some happy ending of his own in the real world. He is set to tie the knot with partner Sarah Hyland, who he began dating in 2018. The nuptials is a long-anticipated one as the lovebirds have postponed their marriage severally due to the coronavirus pandemic. This time, they seem determined to pull it off, taking a page out of other couples’ books. What better time to seal their union than this season of happy endings!
