Nintendo has announced that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s launch date for its Booster course, Wave 3, will be coming on December 7, 2022. Previously, Nintendo shared that the DLC will have eight-course tracks. At that, the franchise released two of the total tracks: Merry Mountain and Peach Gardens.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Wave 3 Launch
In September this year, Nintendo released some basic information about an upcoming holiday race course for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The company named it Wave 3 following a prior release of its first two waves, i.e., Wave 1 and Wave 2.
During the early announcement, Nintendo revealed only two courses from the eight-track lists. They include:
- Merry Mountain
The first race track reveals Merry Mountain from Mario Kart Tour. This trace is covered in snowy environs featured with several Christmas trees and lights.

- Peach Gardens
The return of Peach Gardens from Mario Kart DS is coming in Wave 3. Endowed in a new painting coat, the course offers a gentle racing adventure. However, you should be skilled enough to traverse your car through Peach’s Castle’s lovely gardens.

When Nintendo revealed the two tracks, they left out six more tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Wave 3. Now that the DLC’s launch is nearly coming, the company has revealed the expected courses.
