This Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness blooper reel might be the best thing you’ll see today. Why? Because it takes a very dark and sometimes serious film and shows you that behind the scenes was not like that. The movie may have handled some very dark themes delicately, but the blooper reel shows a different side to the whole thing.

Truthfully, there is something very charming about a blooper reel, especially for triple-A movies like this one. Some people put stars on pedestals, but when they goof, it’s clear we are all the same.

Madness, Mayhem, and Mirth in the Multiverse

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness blooper reel is cool for another reason, too. The movie was heavily influenced by CG effects, meaning you see these stars working with a green screen and little else. When talking to ET about it, screenwriter Michael Waldron shared:

“In terms of inspiration, I was thinking a lot about Aliens, when James Cameron establishes the space marines, and they’re all so badass — and then they just get massacred,” Waldron said of the scene, with introduces some beloved characters from the MCU vault, What If…? and the comic canon, before they’re all brutally killed by the vengeful Scarlet Witch, aka Wanda Maximoff (Olsen). “I just loved that.”

He continued:

It’s true. Between this and Spider-Man’s final act in his last film, Marvel is really opening up their multiverse right now. Fans are curious to see what falls out of it next. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness blooper reel should tide you over until then.
