Telltale games has shared the first trailer of the upcoming season 2 of Minecraft: Story Mode. The game continues the adventures of the main hero Jesse, according to the decisions that players took during the Season 1 episodes, although new players will also be able to enjoy the adventure even if they skipped the first game. As other Telltale games, Season 2 will feature multiplayer via Crowd Play, which is a mode in which other friends can have a say in which decision the player takes from their smartphones.
Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 will have Jesse exploring the darkest depths of the world, and will be joined by familiar faces from the first part, as well as some new friends full of personality, making up for a very lively set of characters. As seen in the trailer, the game will put players in the position to make some critical decisions, which will shape the course of the story and keep it fresh for future replays.
Telltale will kickstart Season 2 with the release of Episode 1, Hero in Residence, on July 11th for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices. Nintendo Switch will receive Season 1 later this summer. Watch the trailer for Season 2 below.
