Last week, the official day one file size of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on the Xbox One was revealed. At the time, a 60 GB file size seemed rather small for a game that will be a next-gen title; however, it could be just the file size for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, not the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The next-gen versions of Ubisoft’s games will most likely be bigger than their current generation’s size. This week, the official day one file size of Watch Dogs Legion on the Xbox One was revealed. Oddly, the day one Watch Dogs Legion file size is smaller than Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Watch Dogs Legion is scheduled to be released on October 28, 2020. According to Ubisoft, Watch Dogs Legion is supposed to be the biggest Watch Dogs yet. Watch Dogs 2 requires 27 Gbs on PC. The Xbox One version of Watch Dogs 2 comes in at approximately 33.2 GBS. According to the Microsoft Store, Watch Dogs Legion will be approximately 40.4 GBs; this does not include any day one updates. The official day one file size will be revealed closer to launch once review copies of the game have been sent out.

According to the Microsoft Store listing, Watch Dogs Legion will be Xbox One X enhanced providing 4k resolution with HDR support. The game is also Xbox Series X/S Optimized with the higher end modeling; it will provide 4k resolution and offer HDR support through Smart Delivery.
