A few weeks ago, we reported about rumors of Watch Dogs 3 being set in a modern London, in the United Kingdom. Now, it turns out those rumors are true, at least based on what Kotaku’s Jason Schreier is reporting.

Schreier talked about the game in the bigger context of Assassin’s Creed’s next location, which is apparently involving Vikings.

Kotaku’s news editor was mentioning a patch that had been applied to Watch Dogs 2 to edit the ending of the game post-launch.

“A new patch for Watch Dogs 2 also dropped a major clue for Watch Dogs 3, telling the world that it would be set in London (which it is),” said Schreier.

That’s to say that Ubisoft usually drops hints like the “Valhalla” poster found in The Division 2 in its games.

And from the looks of it, they did it again.

We don’t have any clue about when Watch Dogs 3 might be released, but since it’ll probably be revealed at E3 2019, we would not rule out a late 2019 launch for it (which the original rumor mentioned).
