Developers are becoming more and more cautious with the PC releases of their AAA games, as the track record for them has not been great in recent years. There are too many stories of the PC version of a new game being a catastrophe when the console versions are fine, and now Ubisoft is taking a little extra time with one of their upcoming games to make sure that doesn’t happen.
Watch Dogs 2 on PC has been delayed by two weeks, with the official Ubisoft Blog stating that “The extra time will be used for additional polish and will help ensure the game runs smoothly across a broad range of PC hardware.” Considering some were complaining about limitations that were placed on the PC version, it sounds like the delay will help make the game perform better for those with more capable hardware.

Watch Dogs 2 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 15th, with the PC version now launching on November 29th.
