Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 were met with plenty of excitement from the gaming committee. While games climb to the top of the Steam charts, they seem to have players deal with pretty awkward bugs. A new bug discovered a while ago is about Warzone 2 and gives players overpowered gas masks during matches. Here are the details.
A New Warzone 2 Bug Makes Gas Masks Overpowered
It is quite normal for a newly released game to have bugs and glitches. Developers eliminate all this with updates that come over time. The gaming committee faced numerous issues in 2020’s Call of Duty: Warzone, so the same was expected from its sequel. At this point, a new bug discovered in Warzone 2 that debuted in the past days causes gas masks to be overpowered during the matches.
Admittedly, this is a better bug than the previous ones. For instance, Call of Duty player renz2101 experienced this bug and found a gas mask with 22,766% strength. He shared a screenshot from within the game on Reddit, and it seems he is not alone in dealing with this issue. Meanwhile, normal gas masks have a capacity of 100%. However, this bugged mask is as strong as 227 normal ones.
Typically, gas masks allow players limited freedom to survive outside of the safe zone, but players with bugged masks like renz2101 can survive outside for 227 times normal. Although this issue looks good at first, unfortunately, it spoils the dynamism of the game. Players who wear this overpowered gas mask can cause them to survive outside of the safe zone more and become immortal, as mentioned above. In short, it can be abused.
If you would like to try this out for yourself, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
