Gavra Games has announced that Warriors: Rise to Glory leaves early access today and will be fully released on Steam for $19.99, coming with a 20% discount in its first week as well. The rogue-lite turn-based gladiator game comes to Steam with everything it had on Early Access, which includes the multiplayer experience and the single-player campaign mode.

After a highly successful Early Access stage, where the game had grown in stature from its initial concept – a turn-based gladiator game that is much deeper than first imagined – for it then to evolve into a much more progressive game, where you can enjoy multiplayer and single playing features, with a whole host of rewards to access. The news that Warriors: Rise to Glory leaves early access and joins Steam full time is a triumph for Gavra Games, whose quaint game has gone above and beyond initial projections – it’s nice to see the little guy succeed.

How does, Warriors: Rise to Glory work?

Warriors: Rise to Glory has you pitted against AI, or friends and strangers, in gritty 1 vs1, 2 vs 2, free-for-all battles, and co-op boss battles, all of which are included in single-player and multiplayer. Every decision you make is an important one, with there being a fine margin between life and death… but your warrior’s feats will live long in the memory. And just like those real gladiator arenas in Ancient Rome, you will be fighting for the cruel enjoyment of a callous crowd – an aspect that you need be aware of.

This turned-based gladiator game lets you decide the fate of your fallen enemies; will you be merciful or give the crowd what they want? Warriors: Rise to Glory also enables you to upgrade your weapons and attain better armor until you become stronger, and your name lives long folklore. But just remember, everything that happens is based on your decisions, so make them wise ones. Take a look on Steam now to get your gladiatorial fix.
