World Of Warcraft’s latest expansion launched on Tuesday and some players are still having issues connecting with Warlords Of Draenor.

It has gotten so bad that recently merged servers have “temporarily lowered” their maximum population. It also stems from so many people around the world attempting to enter the area of Draenor at the same time. Some fans are even reporting a queue lasting anywhere between 2-10 hours. Blizzard have been attempting to keep fans up to date via their forums. They even went on to say what other issues they are currently working to address in Warlords Of Draenor:

  • Instance servers timing out, which may impact dungeon access
  • Continent server issues, which are resulting in Player Not Found and disconnection issues
  • Garrison server issues, which are resulting in phasing and performance issues

There are even confirmed reports of servers being under DDOS attacks. This is all surprising given Blizzard Entertainment’s near perfect record of World Of Warcraft expansion launches, as they usually input a pre-launch patch and are usually prepared. I guess things just happen sometimes. Hopefully the issue will be resolved over the weekend. Until then, prepare for very long queues.

Warlords Of Draenor is available now on PC and can be picked up via digital in-game or at retail locations where video games are sold.
