Surprise! A WarioWare: Get It Together demo is now available in the Nintendo Switch eShop for free. The short demo allows players to access a select range of minigames and characters.

The news of the WarioWare: Get It Together demo was announced on the Nintendo of America’s Twitter page last night. The demo allows players to try out a selection of minigames and characters: “WAH! A free demo for #WarioWareGetItTogether is now available on the #NintendoSwitch #eShop! Download now and try out a selection of microgames before the game’s release on 9/10!”.

Including over 200 fast-paced games “filled with frantic fun”, WarioWare: Get It Together puts players in control of Wario and his crew. Story mode can be enjoyed solo or with a friend in a two-player local co-op while a Variety Pack party game mode allows for up to four players locally.

An online mode entitled Wario Cup features weekly challenges that earn you in-game currency. Turning on ranked mode allows “players [to] fight their way up the leaderboards against players worldwide or friends that are also playing the game.”

Boasting a selection of 14 characters (including some very familiar faces), WarioWare: Get It Together encourages players to try different combinations of abilities to make it through minigames. Abilities vary across the board from hovering jetpacks, spooky spells, hip-thrusting, shuriken throwing, teleportation, and more.

WarioWare: Get It Together is set to fully release for the Nintendo Switch on September 10, 2021, and the demo will be available until then. Physically and digitally, preorders for the game are now available for $49.99.
