I feel like I’ve been talking about hidden indie co-op games a lot these past few days, but not one tops Vermintide 2 for me. I’ve spent countless hours in the game, and the fun it provides is just unmatched. It’s like a spiritual Left 4 Dead 3 for me, and the closest I think we’ll get to it for a while. Not to mention it’s been receiving constant updates over the last few years. That’s only getting better today. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is introducing a new Outcast Engineer career today for everyone’s favorite dwarf Bardin! You can check out the trailer for the new career below.

The Outcast Engineer Career for Vermintide 2

The newest career in Vermintide 2 is known as the Outcast Engineer, bringing a little dwarven lore into the mix. Many may not know this, but dwarves are considered some of the smartest and most tradition-linked people in the world. One link of that are the engineers, considered some of the finest out there. The legend himself has taken on that role, bringing his new tools to the battlefield. This new career gives Bardin a crank gun and a set of grenades to use. Watching rats fly everywhere in a dance of blood is his new specialty, needless to say. This, along with a beautiful looking outfit in Vermintide 2, lets him dish out engineered pain in style.

These of course join a full talent tree and new weapons to slaughter his foes. If this sounds really fun to you, he can be yours in the Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – Outcast Engineer Career. It’s available now for around $5, which isn’t too much for our dwarven fellow, don’t you think? You can also get the cosmetic upgrade for an additional $5, letting you slaughter in the finest styles thanks to Okri’s Challenges.
