Warhammer 40,000: Darktide hosts many Weapon Stats that can appear on various weapons in-game. The problem with these stats is that they are confusing and hard to understand. It is because the game doesn’t explain them very well and represents them by visual stat bars. One such stat which is confusing to understand is the Finesse stat, which we explained below in our guide for Warhammer 40k Darktide.

What is the Finesse Stat in Warhammer 40K Darktide?

The Finesse stat is a special stat that appears on various weapons in Warhammer 40k Darktide. Finesse represents how much Headset or Weakpoint damage weapons such as swords do. This means that if your chosen weapon features a Finesse stat, it will deal more damage when you target enemy Weakpoints. Because of this, we recommend using Finesse weapons as a means to beat special bosses such as Beast of Nurgle or Plague Ogryns and Demonhost.

What are Weakpoints in Warhammer 40k Darktide?

Weakpoints are special locations on various enemies that are subjectable to damage. A great example of one such Weakpoint is the large yellow circle on the back of the Beast of Nurgle. Other examples of Weakpoints include unarmored portions of enemies or when an enemy moves their shield out of the way.
