Participate in this month long charity campaign for a good cause and special in-game rewards

Digital Extremes is kicking off the month of October in Warframe with an event to fight against breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so the team at Digital Extremes is partnering with the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation in Toronto, Ontario (Canada) in a month-long charity event.

This is a community driven event, meaning that even when not playing in-game, there are other methods to participate. Between now and the end of October, players can watch a variety of Warframe partnered streamers who will help in the fundraising campaign. The list of participants will be here in the provided link. They’ll have the Donor Drive extension implemented into their channels.

Last year, this event generated over $100,000 in donations towards breast cancer research. The team at DE and the people at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation hope to match or even surpass that threshold.

What are the rewards?

Since the threshold is at $100,000, there are tiers to unlock at every $10k milestone. Though, the first two are at increments of $5k. Here are the rewards/tiers:

  • Conquera Glyph III and Glyph Display
  • $20,000
  • 3x Forma Alert (From Nov. 5-15)

  • Conquera Orbiter Decoration

  • 1 Fully Build Umbra Forma Alert (Nov. 5-15)
  • $60,000
  • Unlock The New War Concept Art Reveal #2
  • $70,000
  • 3-Day Affinity Booster Weekend (Nov. 5-7)
  • $80,000
  • Unlock The New War Concept Art Reveal #3
  • $90,000
  • Conquera Ribbon
  • $100,000
  • Conquera Ephemera

All the Conquera items are cosmetic items that resemble the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon. The newest item is the final tier reward, the Conquera Ephemera. You can see what that looks like below. As for the boosters and Forma, those are nice ways for DE to give back to the Warframe community and as a bit of an incentive.

Finally, the concept art reveals for the New War are very enticing, though may be riddled with spoilers. This update has been in the works for a long time, so any news is good news in terms of its development.
