With Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe over, Marvel is moving ahead with TV shows across many platforms. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter led the charge on ABC, paving the way for adaptations of more Marvel properties. Fans are most excited about the different series coming to Disney+. At first, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was the only show to premiere in 2020. Now, it appears that Marvel is ready to add another of their shows, WandaVision, this year.

WandaVision 2020

Disney posted a video online New Year’s Day showcasing the different films and shows coming to their streaming service this year. Both the Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision were among the previews. The latter show was originally slated to release in 2021 but it seems like Marvel is eager for fans to see the series. However, no specific release date has been announced for either show, only the 2020 timeframe.

WandaVision is an upcoming MCU spinoff TV series. The show will follow Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany).  Kevin Feige says that the show provides an opportunity to see more of Wanda’s powers and explore who Vision’s character. Furthermore, Darcy Lewis (Kat Dennings), Randall Park (Jimmy Woo), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) will appear as well. The series will connect with the upcoming MCU film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As a result, fans are already speculating on just how it will do so.
