Look out—a massive meteor has just crashed into Wacky Wizards! As of Feb. 23, 2022, the Meteor update is live inside of the experience, and with it came a new ingredient storage system, new friend features, and even an entirely new map! For a closer look at these changes, continue reading below.
New map
To many players’ surprise, Wacky Wizards has just debuted a new, more separated map design. This remodeled design, featured in the screenshots below, has created designated areas for each prior update and leaves plenty of room for future ones as well.
New ingredient storage system
A new storage box has appeared next to players’ ingredient tables to go along with the rearranged map. This box, called the Legacy Storage, features all ingredients that are no longer obtainable by completing quests.
This includes the Ghost, Alien Parasite, Cooked Turkey, Gingerbread Man, and more. Luckily, however, these ingredients aren’t fully gone from Wacky Wizards—they’ll just need to be unlocked with Gems from now on.
New friend features
Another new addition to Wacky Wizards, the ability to teleport to friends, and give cauldron permission to other players, is now available. To interact with these changes, simply approach your Potion Book and look for the Permissions button. Here, you’ll be able to scroll through the list of players currently on your server and choose who you’d like to give cauldron access to.
To teleport to friends, you’ll need to ensure that a friend is on the same server as you. If they are, you’ll be able to teleport to them at any time by using the Teleport button.
Are there new potions?
At the time of this article’s publication, no new ingredients or potions have been added with the Meteor update. It’s likely that in two weeks, on March 2, 2022, we will see a new ingredient to celebrate the new map.
