Kaiju No.8, Vol, 1
With the highest kaiju-emergence rates in the world, Japan is no stranger to attack by deadly monsters. Here enters the Japan Defense Force, a military organization tasked with eliminating the Kaiju. Kafka Hibino, a kaiju corpse cleanup man, has always dreamed of joining the force. Despite this, he wants another shot at achieving his childhood dream. But, how can he help fight kaiju when he becomes one himself?
Naoya Matsumoto’s newest series explores the relations between kaiju and human relations set in their universe, including what it means to be human. December 7, 2021 is the release date for Kaiju. The pre-order price for it is $9.99 USD.
Other Shonen Jump titles set to be released by VIZ Media are Chainsaw Man volume 8, Kaguya-sama: Love is War volume 21, and Jujutsu Kaisen volume 13.
Viz Media Exclusives and Signatures
Viz Media is no stranger to having exclusives of their longest-running series. These titles include spinoffs, new titles, and art books of already existing series. These titles are also available for preorder and are set to ship sometime in December at different dates.
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Land of Sand (Novel)
The Fullmetal Alchemist spinoff novel tells a spinoff story featuring Edward and Alphonse Elric. As the duo goes to explore the mining town of Xenotime, they now discover it to be barren. The people of the town’s only hope now lies with Edward Elric, who has also had his identity stolen.
This title also includes a bonus story titled The Phantoms of Warehouse 13. Barry the Chopper is the main character for this side story.
December 14 is the release date for Fullmetal Alchemist: The Land of Sand. It will retail for $10.99 USD.
Pokemon Pocket Comics: Sun and Moon
This short Pokemon story from VIZ Media centers around funny interactions of different Pokemon. The four-panel comic features different favorites from different regions as they interact with not only other Pokemon but other humans!
December 14 is the release date for this title. The retail price will be $10.99 USD.
