With the launch of the Vivo Z1 Pro earlier this year, the company has revamped its strategy to take on the assault of Redmi and Realme smartphones in the budget market. Now, the Chinese giant is taking another step to counter these brands with the launch of its new Vivo Z1x mid-range smartphone in India today. It’s a rebranded Vivo Z5 that launched in China earlier this year, with a powerful chipset, 48MP camera, and a lot more.
On the design front, the Vivo Z1x boasts a polycarbonate build (similar to the Z1 Pro) but with a slightly different and attractive gradient design that looks quite stunning under light.
In the camera department, the Vivo Z1x comes outfitted with a vertical triple-lens module with a primary 48MP Sony IMX582 primary sensor. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. You will also find a 32MP selfie camera housed in the waterdrop notch, which is the same as Z1 Pro.
Vivo Z1x has been priced starting at Rs. 16,990 for the 6GB+64GB base variant. But, you will need to shell out a couple thousand bucks extra (Rs. 18,990) for the 6GB+128GB variant.
