After Electronic Arts spent a generous amount of time presenting Star Wars: Battlefront 2 at yesterday’s EA Play conference, fans of the franchise has begin to question whether the company is reserving their other major Star Wars title in development for another of the E3 conferences. However, Amy Henning, creative director at Visceral Games has confirmed that the title will not be present at the fair in any form, as they are reserving all the attention to Battlefront 2 at the moment.

The Star Wars project developed by Visceral Games for EA has raised very high expectations among the community, as it is being written by Todd Stashwick, who is responsible of the script of the first three Uncharted games. When asked about the possibility of seeing the game at E3, Henning tweeted that “It’s #Battlefront2‘s year – very proud of our friends at DICE and Motive! We’re still hard at work on our game, though, have no fear… :)”

Todd Stashwick then added that “DICE and Motive have something great w/ #Battlefront2. It’s their time. We will have our day in the twin suns. No fear. It will be glorious.”

EA definitely dedicated Battlefront 2 as much time as possible during their show, with 30 minutes of gameplay and a new trailer showcasing new scenarios as Naboo. The game will be expanded in the future with free DLC packs featuring additional characters like Finn and Captain Phasma.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will be released on November 17th for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Visceral Games’ Star Wars title is expected for 2018.
