Netflix has unveiled a huge cast for their historical drama, Vikings Valhalla. As expected, there are loads of well-known historical figures from the Viking Age.

Following the success of Vikings, Netflix has ordered a 24-episode spinoff titled Vikings: Valhalla. This comes after Vikings recently ended after a hugely successful six-season run. Sadly, creator Michael Hirst won’t act as showrunner for Valhalla. Instead, duties have been handed to Jeb Stuart (Die Hard, The Fugitive). Hirst will still act as an executive producer alongside Morgan O’Sullivan and Stewart.

Set around 100 years after the events of Vikings, the spinoff chronicles the spoils of the next generation of iconic rulers, explorers, heroes, and villains. Like the mother show, we’ll see some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived in action — including Leif Eriksson!
