Divano Thelma is a playable character in Vampire Survivors who starts every stage with one extra level and gains +1 Armor every 5 Levels up to five times. Divano’s starting weapon is the Laurel, a supporting weapon that shields its wielder from damage and briefly makes the player invulnerable upon activation. With this starting weapon and these attributes in mind, Vampire Survivors fans can deduce that Divano Thelma is built as a tank focused on possessing high protection against enemy attacks. Accordingly, Divano is an excellent pick for challenging stages where players might feel less confident regarding their survival in Vampire Survivors, as this character’s specialty is absorbing damage.

Unlocking Divano Thelma in Vampire Survivors

To unlock Divano Thelma in Vampire Survivors, players must obtain the Crimson Shroud, the evolution of Laurel. The Crimson Shroud requires two passive items known as Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right in order to evolve. These two items become available once survivors have acquired the Yellow Sign, a Relic located in Holy Forbidden.

Vampire Survivors: How to Unlock the Secret Character

Holy Forbidden is a hidden stage in Vampire Survivors that becomes accessible after surviving 14 minutes in Moongolow and defeating Trinacria. Moongolow is the second bonus stage in the game that players can enter once they’ve unlocked Hyper Mode for four normal stages. Once Vampire Survivors have access to Moongolow, they must play the stage using a standard playable character, not a special one. After surviving around 14 minutes within this stage, a fisheye effect will occur on the screen, and multiple eyeballs will spawn in, eerily encircling the player. Trinacria will also appear and fight with the player character. Once Trinacria is dead, the protagonist will be immediately teleported to Holy Forbidden.

Upon entering Holy Forbidden, Vampire Survivors fans will lose all their progression in Moongolow. They will only be left to fend off enemies with their starting weapon. The enemies and visuals will be a distraction, but players must press onward until they reach the end of the corridor. After getting to the end, walk through the wall and into the river of glitchy items to receive the Yellow Sign. Next, go to the Mad Forest and find Metaglio Left and Metaglio Right on the map. Level these items to their max, including the Laurel. Once all three have been maxed out, Vampire Survivors will unlock Crimson Shroud, resulting in Divano Thelma becoming available for purchase.

Vampire Survivors is available for Early Access on PC via Steam.
