Within the first 10 minutes of this horror game, you’ll know whether or not your build in Vampire Survivors actually works. How you use your weapon is as important as what you choose. Beyond evolving the weapons, you can buff them to improve them. In Vampire Survivors, you can unlock and use Spellbinder as a weapon buff to increase your damage.
Unlock and Use Spellbinder in Vampire Survivors
Spellbinder is one of the many accessories in Vampire Survivors that acts as a weapon buff. With how intense the hordes can get in this gothic horror rogue-lite game, you may need all the help you can get.
So, how do we go about unlocking this? First off, you need the Runetracer weapon. Evolve this to Level 7, and you should unlock Spellbinder.
If you don’t have Runetracer, you can unlock that by simply surviving for 5 minutes in the game while playing as the character Pasqualina. She starts out with Runetracer, and once you survive the allocated time, the weapon unlocks for others.
When the above happens, Spellbinder will show up as future weapon pulls.
Using the Spellbinder Weapon Buff in Vampire Survivors
Once you pull Spellbinder in Vampire Survivors, you can finally access its buff on any weapon you have. Spellbinder will increase the duration of weapon effects by 10%. You can level this accessory up to Level 5 as well.
This can work better on certain weapons, too, so that you can get through the game easier. It works well on the weapon mentioned above, Runetracer as this weapon bounces around and through enemies. Another weapon that Spellbinder works well for is Santa Water. This weapon will generate a damaging zone, and with the 10% increase in its duration, you can handle large enemy swarms well.
Also, in Vampire Survivors, Spellbinder goes beyond being a weapon buff as it’s even used to evolve the King Bible.
Vampire Survivors: How to Unlock the Secret Character
With some weapon buffs and the right weapons, you can get through this survival horror indie game with (hopefully) minimal damage done to your character. Consider focusing on unlocking and using the Spellbinder in Vampire Survivors, as it can pay off in numerous ways.
Vampire Survivors is available now as an Early Access game on PC via Steam with a demo playable on itch.io.
