Earlier this week, rumors suggested that Korean gaming companies were interested in the potential purchase of Valve Software. Valve’s Chet Faliszek has confirmed that these rumors were completely fabricated, and that they have no intention of selling Valve anytime soon.
“There’s no thoughts about that – everyone likes working there, we like working together. We like the culture we have and the way it works because of all the parts of it. We’re not changing any of that, we’re pretty happy. We’re doing OK.”
Valve has recently been the target of numerous stories surrounding a possible aquisition. They are currently the largest player in a market model that game publishers are dying to crack.
