It’s been a while since we saw a new agent in Valorant. Neon, the duelist from the Philippines came to the game in January 2022. And if the new reports are correct, we’ll soon be seeing a new agent join the current Valorant roster.
Codenamed Bounty Hunter, this new agent could be an initiator like Sova. Although we don’t know much about the new agent, the State of Agents blog post does shed some light on the new agent’s abilities.
Moreover, the new agent could very well be of Turkish origin. There’s a line in the blog post that says, “Herkesin bir korkusu var”, which roughly translates to “Everyone has a fear.” There’s also a small ring hidden right beneath the teacup in the image. This ring has a symbol that looks like a charm to ward off evil. This charm could be symbolic and could hint at one of the agent’s abilities.
From the image seen in the blog post, it’s evident that this new agent has Sova and Cypher in their cross-hairs. There’s an image of Sova on the laptop, and a board with Cypher’s image on it. It will be interesting to see how these two agents are related to the new agent.
