Today, during the Xbox & Bethesda Extended Showcase, players received an announcement that the Iron Gate game Valheim is arriving to Xbox. At the beginning of the showcase, Valheim had already been confirmed to be heading over to Gamepass, but now we’ll also be getting it on the console.
Console players can join their fellow PC players in crossplay together. Gather resources to build your dream structure, upgrade your gear, and be ready to take the various danger that awaits you. Steam, Microsoft, and Xbox versions will have full crossplay support. The brutal exploration and survival game can see up to 10 players working either together or not in a procedurally generated purgatory inspired by the ancient Viking culture.

Previously released in 2021, Valheim lit up players’ computers everywhere and topped charts as one of the year’s most popular titles. Now that the popular game is heading towards consoles. We’ll once again see players donning their Viking helmets and heading out to see to explore the wonders and dangers that lie ahead. Players will also get to enjoy all the newly added content that has been added since the Release of Valheim with update 0.209.5, adding three new in-game items.
The Iron Gate title Valheim will arrive on Game Pass PC in the fall of this year and will make its way onto Xbox One & Series X|S in the spring of 2023.
