For those of you familiar with Valheim, you’ll know that comfort is a valuable stat. If you have a high comfort level in your surroundings, you’ll receive an increased rested bonus time. You’ll need items, like the Maypole, to increase your comfort level. However, Maypoles are one of the few decorations in Valheim that cannot be crafted. This is how you can find one.
How to Find Maypoles
You can find Maypoles if you venture down into the Meadows biome. You can find them in the abandoned villages in this region. However, they are quite rare even still. So, be prepared to look through a couple of villages before you can locate one. When you do find one, you’ll notice that you can’t move it. This is true for all the items you find out in the world. If you wish to draw the comfort bonus of the Maypole, you will have to build your base around it.

This could be advantageous. You could use the old buildings and materials however you see fit. The only downside is that Maypoles can be easily destroyed by invading forces, such as Surtlings. If this is unsatisfactory, you can activate the debug mode after turning on the ability to use cheat codes. Simply press F5 and input imacheater. This will allow you to input debugmode into the console and turn on the debug mode.
Once you do so, equip your hammer and open up the crafting menu. The Maypole should be down near the bottom in the Furniture tab. It will require 10 Wood, 4 Dandelions, and 4 Thistle. When you have all the required materials, you can build the Maypole wherever you wish, and get the comfort bonus you desire.
