Not to be confused with Silver Coins, Silver Ore is a resource in V Rising required for crafting high-level items such as the next tier of Dark Silver Ingot weaponry after Iron gear. Silver Ore is mined from pillar-shaped veins that have a similar appearance to normal Stone nodes, except there are patches of shiny Silver speckled about its surface. To mine Silver Ore, Vampire adventurers will need the Merciless upgrade for their Iron armaments, acquired in a similar fashion to upgraded Copper gear. Once players have obtained these tools, they will be able to harvest Silver Ore in V Rising.
Where to Find Silver Ore in V Rising
To get Silver Ore in V Rising, Vampire players will need to enter Silverlight Hills, the late-game region northwest of Vardoran’s map. As one might expect, this territory is much more difficult than Dunley Farmlands. Accordingly, players must ensure they are appropriately geared and leveled before exploring Silverlight Hills. Specifically, it is recommended that Vampires be between Levels 65-75.
V Rising: Where to find Beatrice the Tailor
Multiple Silver Ore veins can be found throughout the open world in Silverlight Hills. For example, several nodes are located in the land east of Brighthaven Suburbs, and more can be discovered above the Harpy Nest in the northern portion of the map. However, the best place to farm Silver Ore in V Rising is Sacred Silver Mine, a large landmark in the northwestern corner of Silverlight Hills. Vampire Travelers can reach this location by trekking northward from Brighthaven Square or westward from the northern Harpy Nest.
The main challenge that V Rising players must overcome while farming Silver Ore in Sacred Silver Mine is the excessive number of high-level patrols guarding the underground mineshafts. It is possible to turn into a beast form and stay near the shadows while exploring the grotto, but the Silver veins will often be near a group of hostile enemies. Therefore, it would be a good idea to prepare for this mining expedition with sufficient healing items.
It should be mentioned that Vampires are weak to Silver and can receive bodily harm from carrying it. Hence, V Rising fans are advised to have the Recipe for the Silver Resistance Potion unlocked by slaying Raziel the Shepherd. This Level 60 V Blood Carrier can be found in the Dunley Monastery. However, bear in mind that the Monastery is protected with a holy aura, meaning that players will also need the Holy Resistance Potion from Christina the Sun Priestess to raid the abbey effectively.
