Marvel games have become very popular and they have actually become better. While we didn’t have bad games in the past, we can say that the last ones have been great. Well, with the exception of Marvel’s Avengers that even with updates is still, well, not too good. Yet, Spider-Man for the PS4 set the bar very high, and players hope the upcoming Marvel games are like this. However, those that are expecting an MCU-like narrative might be disappointed. The Marvel games 2023 releases will not be connected after all, meaning they’ll have their own contained story.

Upcoming Marvel Games Will Not Have An MCU-Like Narrative

The MCU presented a great way to tell interwoven stories. All the way back from the Hulk film starring Edward Norton to its culmination with Endgame. It was truly an impressive feat for the studio. However, the videogame market didn’t fall behind. Spider-Man was an amazing game that surpassed expectations and told a better story than the movies. And, for the Marvel games 2023 line-up, we have the new one coming. It is without a doubt one of the most expected and hyped upcoming Marvel games out there.

Iron Man Game by EA Motive Might Be Announced Soon

Beyond that, we’ve already got announcements and rumors of other Marvel games. We have a Black Panther game in the works and EA has already talked about a new Iron Man game. Beyond that, another of the upcoming Marvel games is Wolverine. Which, luckily, is being developed by Insomniac. The studio behind Spider-Man. One would think that the stories would be connected but it seems that the games won’t. For one part, this could be good. With different studios working on different games, sharing gameplay and stories could be hard. This is something that the VP of Marvel games said. Either way, the Marvel games 2023 line-up isn’t bad at all and we can’t wait for more announcements to come in the future.
