A new translation from Chinese patch notes on Diablo Immortal has unveiled some concerning aspects. But now, some progression might be in jeopardy thanks to an upcoming update where the Hero’s Journey will be reset. It’ll act as the second major update for Diablo Immortal while also kicking off season seven of the game coupled with the Hero’s Journey adjustments. The Upcoming Second Major Diablo Immortal Update Will Change Things

It seems that players are noticing some unfamiliarities between the English and Chinese patch notes for Diablo Immortal. Players originally dealt with this in a previous update where a crafting feature seemed to have been apparently scrapped from the English version. Now, the issue is with the continuous Hero’s Journey that completionists rely on. Since this information was initially absent, fans quickly responded upon discovery.

“Hello again everyone, We have updated the verbiage in our most recent Content Update blog. The following is now stated under the Feature Update section:

Hero’s Journey Reset

  • Following the server maintenance of our next Major Update on December 14, your existing Hero’s Journey chapter progress will be reset.
  • New chapters will immediately become available for you to complete.
  • Any unclaimed rewards from previous Chapters will be sent to your in-game Mail.”

With only a few weeks left before the update transpires, players are worried about losing progress. Since the game is very limited in its execution, completing the Hero’s Journey might not be possible for some fans. Time is running short for Diablo Immortal players, so be sure to log in and work on your Hero’s Journey before December 14 arrives.
