Any youth PC gamer like me has no doubt played Unturned at one point or another. The game being free and offering several hours of content is just too good to pass up. It’s been played by millions of players and still has a healthy player base to this day. Its developer Smartly Dressed Games created something truly special here, and I’m incredibly excited for Unturned 4.0 to come out one day. Before we get updates on that though, the team has something else exciting to share. Unturned is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this fall, allowing many more to experience the fun that is this survival game.
The ports are being published by 505 Games, who is best known for publishing games like Terraria, Control, and Dead by Daylight. This publisher puts out some high-quality games, and to see them pushing the console versions is great to see. It’s the first time Smartly Dressed Games has partnered with any publisher. Given their track record, I’d say the team, headed by Nelson Sexton, made a great choice here.
For those who mainly play on consoles, chances are you haven’t heard of Unturned. When it comes to your respective console, you won’t want to miss it. It’s a zombie survival sandbox game that takes players into a myriad of open-worlds. You must scavenge supplies and take on the hordes of zombies if you are to survive, with other players looking to do the same. Will you look to build a thriving base and gather many resources, or will you hunt others using their supplies to fuel your rampage? The choice is yours when Unturned arrives on Xbox One and PS4 later this year.
