Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, Overwatch, and DOOM took the top three spots on the PS4 Playstation Store sales charts for May 2016. Not a huge surprise given the massive hype and excitement surrounding these three titles, though the order might be somewhat surprising to some. When you think through all the factors though it makes complete sense, with Uncharted 4 being a PS4 exclusive, Overwatch becoming a huge success, and DOOM pulling in solid numbers for every platform.
Some other bits of info that is interesting: Minecraft continues to dominate the sales charts, taking in new sales consistently from month to month. Rocket League is also doing well, with it recently surpassing 16 million units sold. Battlefield seems to have some very solid staying power, especially BF4. And Battlborn was able to stick in the top ten, though much lower than a new Gearbox title probably would like to be.
