Madcatz has announced the Ultra Street Fighter IV TE2 arcade sticks will be making their way to North America sometime in October.

Mark Julio from Madcatz made the exciting announcement on twitter:

“Happy to announce the Ultra Street Fighter IV TE2 will be coming to North America in early Oct! #PAXPrime2014”

The Ultra Street Fighter IV TE2 arcade sticks were previously only available in Japan only. It’s pretty cool they are now making their way to North America. A European version is being worked on as we speak, but no release schedule has been announced yet. For PAL gamers, you just have to wait a little while longer for these bad boys to come out.

Gamers will be happy to know the Ultra Street Fighter IV TE2 arcade sticks will be compatible with the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. The Xbox versions of the stick has a red frame while the PlayStation version is framed blue. They are virtually identical, but display the respective platforms’ buttons. The PlayStation version has a slide at the top so you can toggle between PS3 and PS4 games.

This stick will work great for games like Ultra Street Fighter IV and more. You can even save it to use for Mortal Kombat X and Tekken 7 next year too.
