Street Fighter fans have been waiting to get their fight sticks out for next-gen since the earlier announcement of Ultra Street Fighter 4 for PlayStation 4. Now comes work that there is a host of features that will make the PlayStation 4 version truly the ‘ultra’ edition of the game.
A post was put up today on the PlayStation Blog that gives a rundown of a few key features that the PlayStation Exclusive next-gen release of Ultra Street Fighter 4 will have. In it Gio Corsi, Director of third-party productions at PlayStation went on to say the following regarding fight sticks:
“Ultra Street Fighter IV will support PS4 FightSticks, of course. But we’ve also included Lab Zero’s drivers so that USFIV will support licensed PS3 FightSticks as well. “
This comes as great news for fans of the title as everyone knows, the best way to play is with a fight stick. They also confirmed the game will run at 1080p and 60FPS. Fans of the PlayStation 3 version know there was some minor input lag and Gio assures fans that they have completely done away with that for the PlayStation 4 release. On a side-note, Ultra Street Fighter 4 will include all DLC that has been released until this point, which is quite a bit. It will be available for $24.99 on PSN starting May 26th.
