Horror games publisher Feardemic teamed up with the development teams of Bloober Team and Unfold Games to reintroduce the three games to the public in the form of a horror bundle. Dubbed as the “Ultimate Horror Bundle”, the collection features the three aforementioned titles in their best forms. In other words, the bundle will include DARQ: Complete Edition, Observer: System Redux, and The Medium itself with all receiving optimization for the Xbox Series X|S.
The brief trailer guides us through snippets of each game. Backed with a terrifying soundscape, the footage flips through a series of ominous scenes along with reviews for the games. It then concludes with the news of the Ultimate Horror Bundle’s release.
Xbox’s Line of Updated Horror Games
For a quick recap, The Medium follows a psychic‘s mystic quest into solving mysteries by transporting between different realities. DARQ tells the story of Lloyd, a boy who is trapped in a frightening lucid nightmare. The young lad must saddle up to not only escape this world but also come face-to-face with his greatest fears. In Observer, you play as a police detective in 2084, solving enigmas through his ability to hack into people’s minds.
The DARQ: Complete Edition is the ideal package for the game. It will include both story DLCS – The Tower and The Crypt. For the Observer: System Redux edition, players can expect to explore more of the game’s world with expanded story content.
