UK retailers are a little worried about games like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Zelda Wii U getting delayed until 2016. They are very anxious about E3 2015.
Fall 2015 looked like a stacked time of year as Uncharted 4, Zelda Wii U, Dead Island 2 and The Division were all going to be out then. However, unexpected delays made all of these games’ release dates get pushed back until 2016. This has made UK retailers worried.
As reported by MCV, many UK retailers are saddened by the delays of big games such as Uncharted 4 and Zelda Wii U. With the loss of such popular games, this of course impacts their own revenue.
UK retailers are hoping new games are all announced at E3 2015. They want E3 2015 to “deliver” or else their end of year numbers will look very low. Considering how popular games like Uncharted 4 and Zelda Wii U will be, you can understand their concerns.
Xbox UK is confident with their lineup for Xbox One. Their marketing boss, Harvey Eagle, noted games like Halo 5: Guardians and Rise of the Tomb Raider will give their console a boost. He also listed third party releases like Black Ops 3 and Star Wars Battlefront as must have games for Fall 2015.
