The boost in sales that Horizon Zero Dawn has been experiencing in recent weeks has lead to one of the most shocking chart moments of the year, with the PS4 exclusive blocking Nintendo’s promising new IP ARMS from entering at number 1 in the best sellers list. It’s the second week in a row that a Sony first-party title tops the charts, after Wipeout: Omega Collection achieved the same feat, but this is also the second time that the Guerrilla title has blocked a Nintendo Switch exclusive from the top, with the game beating The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at launch back in March.

But of course, that was during the release week of both titles. In this case, Horizon Zero Dawn is now a three-month-old game that has beaten a new exclusive IP to the top of the list. This certainly suggests that ARMS hasn’t had a strong debut, and the little information that has been made public suggests that the game has had a worse first week than 1-2 Switch, although that is still enough to be the fourth biggest launch of the young console.

In the rest of the top 10, Dirt 4 had a very soft drop in its second week despite debuting with low sales, Wipeout: Omega Collection fell from the top to number 5, and Tekken 7 dropped to number 6. MotoGP 17 is the only other new entry in the charts, making its entrance at number 18.
