In a surprising bit of news, a Ubisoft theme park is in development. The theme park will be located in the Ubisoft Entertainment Center, which is set to open in 2025 in France.

The gaming-based entertainment center will be located at Studios Occitanie Méditerranée, which is about a 40-minute drive from the city of Montpellier. According to the press release, Ubisoft said the center will include a professional film studio, entertainment offerings, retail, dining, and hospitality. Bruno Granja, founder of Studios Occitanie, expressed their excitement:

The Ubisoft theme park will offer immersive entertainment experiences in worlds based on Ubisoft’s popular game franchises. While fans haven’t been told what games will be included in the park, anything from Assassin’s Creed, Rayman, Rabbids, Far Cry, and more are all on the table. Ubisoft is using production company Storyland Studios and Alterface’s gamification technology, Wander, to make the park a reality.

The information regarding the supposed Ubisoft theme park is sparse, but the developer promises to keep fans in the know as development progresses.
