It was 2020 when we saw the first announcement of the Prince of Persia Remake. Now, two years later, we have big news. While Ubisoft has said they are not canceling the remake, they have begun with Prince of Persia Remake refunds. Now, anyone who’s ever heard of a game refunding doesn’t bode well. A lot of people were not completely happy with the first look of the trailer. Some people really thought Ubisoft was on the wrong path. And well, it isn’t the first, how many times has the game Skull & Bones been delayed? Whether this game is still in the works or not, it is a fact that the Prince of Persia Remake pre-orders are getting refunded, which leaves a lot to say about the potential remake.
Prince of Persia Remake Refunds the game as the pre-orders are getting canceled
A remake doesn’t sound like a bad idea for fans of the classic Prince of Persia games. We know that Capcom is doing a great job with Resident Evil 4 so far. However, the first impressions of the Price of Persia remake were not the best. While the Prince of Persia Remake pre-orders were up quite early, the developers have decided to refund the game.
Prince of Persia Remake Delayed, But Not Canceled
Still, the company is insisting that the game is still in the works, and this is only a delay. Yet, there are a lot of signs that this might not bode well. On the other hand, the fact that the Prince of Persia Remake refunds are happening makes players think that Ubisoft really wants to make a good product. We truly hope so because we know they have dropped the ball in some games. With many Assassin’s Creed titles on the horizon, we imagine they have their focus somewhere else. Yet, we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for this remake, should it arrive one day.
