With the upcoming movie Avatar: The Way of the Water, the buzz around the franchise is building, including an upcoming Ubisoft game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Initially scheduled for a 2022 release date, a past leak narrowed down the day to November 8th as the big day. Unfortunately, players will have to hold their anticipation for the upcoming release until a later date with the announcement of the delay of the Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora game by Ubisoft made today.

In their recent Fiscal Earnings statement, Ubisoft stated that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be delayed and is now slated to arrive sometime between 2023 and 2024. The report didn’t specify anything more outside the delay of the upcoming title. Assuming that the delay is following Ubisoft fiscal year, we can take it somewhere between April 1st in 2023 and March 31st, 2024.

Taking time to reset, reflect, and change how they make games

“We are committed to delivering a cutting-edge immersive experience that takes full advantage of next-gen technology, as this amazing global entertainment brand represents a major multi-year opportunity for Ubisoft.” As so stated by Ubisoft in the fiscal report.

Ubisoft also stated in the fiscal report. “While this additional development time is a reflection of the current ongoing constraints on productions across the industry, we are hard at work to design the most efficient working conditions to ensure both flexibilities for our teams as well as strong productivity while delivering the best experiences to players.”

Along with various other announcements for the futures of other Ubisoft games like Assassins Creed Franchise and Roller Champions. Ubisoft stated they would give further details regarding Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with the upcoming Ubisoft Forward on September 10th. Until then, players can head over to the official Ubisoft website to follow any upcoming updates. The forthcoming release will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox Series X|S
