How’s the Monster Hunter Rise 3.0 title update? Well, whether or not you have fought the final Narwa and Ibushi battle and finally freed Kamura from Rampage, don’t forget about the new Event and Challenge Quests that were released on May 28 yesterday. You can grab the Quests from Senri the Mailman in front of the Steelworks. After downloading it (or any other quests), it can be accepted from the Event Quest option at the Gathering Hub’s Quest Counter. Every new Event and Challenge Quest in Monster Hunter Rise you’ve downloaded can be played even in online mode.
Recently, Monster Hunter Rise also managed to reach the 7 million copies sold worldwide milestone, and to celebrate the occasion, Capcom is adding another downloadable item pack as well. Check the details for all of them below.
Talk to Senri the Mailman to claim Kamura Pack 3, containing consumable items. Nothing special, but still helpful in hunts:
- 30x Mega Potions.
- 20x Well-done Steaks.
- 10x Large Barrel Bombs.
- 5x Mega Demondrugs.
- 5x Mega Armorskins.
Monster Hunter Rise New Event Quests: ‘Challenge Quest 01’
- Condition: None.
- Reward: Well-done Steak, Lifepowder, Steel Egg.
- Locale: Arena.
- Objective: Slay a Tetranodon.
Like all other Arena Quests, it is just you, the target monster, and garbage fixed sets in the middle. All you need to do is just beat this Tetranodon and prove that you still got it. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?
New Event Quest: ‘I Can’t Do What Somnacan’
- Condition: HR 4 or higher.
- Reward: Blowing a Kiss gesture.
- Locale: Frost Island.
- Objective: Hunt a Somnacanth.
It’s a simple quest where you have to either slay or capture the leviathan Somnacanth. Finishing this quest will give you a new gesture where you blow a kiss to other players — or to your Buddies or even captured monsters, if you want.
Aside from the new downloadable Event and Challenge Quest in Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom is currently running a ‘Capcom Hits Sale‘ over at the Nintendo eShop. Decent deals but no Monster Hunter stuff, though.
