We know there’s an Avengers game coming this fall and we already got a Spider-Man game a few years back. Is it possible a Daredevil game is in the works as well? A recent exchange between famed video game voice actor Troy Baker and head of creative at Marvel Games, Bill Rosemann has fans wondering if they hinted at something.

The rumor mill started spinning up after a tweet asking users what their dream superhero game would be. The tweet also asked people who they want developing that game.

When Troy Baker responded, things took off quickly. His tweet wasn’t the name of a hero or a studio. Instead, he simply posted, “ahem, @BillRosemann, cough, COUGH.” Rosemann, summoned on social media by Baker gave a rather cryptic reply that wasn’t hard to read into.

“You, sir, are clearly a man without fear,” he wrote.

With that clue, it didn’t take people long to jump to the conclusion the two were talking about the iconic Marvel superhero, Daredevil. He is, after all, known as “the man without fear.”

There have been vague rumors floating around the Internet for a while now that a Daredevil game could be coming. It’s almost a shoo-in that Marvel isn’t going to stop with the Avengers or Spider-Man.

The character has a strong following thanks to the Netflix series as well. The real question is whether or not the exchange between Baker and Rosemann is their way of leaking the news. If it was, we’re almost certainly going to be getting some kind of announcement soon.

It would make sense for this to be the leadup to a Summer Gamesfest announcement. It doesn’t seem like either Baker or Rosemann would do something like this without knowing exactly what it looked like. There is, of course, always a chance the pair were having a bit of fun with their followers but it stands to reason the gaming community is going to find out sooner, rather than later whether a Daredevil game is on the horizon.
