It’s been a little over a month and a half since the retirement of former WWE CEO Vince McMahon on July 22nd. After 40 years as the leading man of the World Wrestling Entertainment brand, the now 77-year-old billionaire had decided it was time to retire for good. In wake of McMahon’s retirement, there have been a few changes over at WWE. One recent change is the naming of WWE pro wrestler and exec Paul “Triple H” Levesque with the new title of Chief Content Officer. It was revealed that Triple H officially received this job title in an SEC(Securities and Exchange Commission) filing this past Friday.
WWE Gives Triple H New Title and Raise
Paul “Triple H” Levesque retired from the WWE and the world of professional wrestling in 2022. The former 14-time World Champion was named the head of creative this past July following McMahon’s retirement. His connection to the McMahon family is his spouse, Stephanie McMahon, a former professional wrestler and the daughter of Vince McMahon. Before Vince Mcmahon’s official retirement, Stephanie was named interim chairman and interim CEO of the company. Her title changed after her father’s leave, and Stephanie now has the active title of the official chairwoman and Co-CEO of WWE.
